I ordered this dress for a party. When the dress arrived, I was beyond happy that the colors were as pictured. What I didn't expect was the beautiful material ?. I knew I would definitely look great for the party until I began to unfold the dress and saw that it was too big. I am 5'7, 175lbs, just to give you an idea of what size to purchase, and I ordered a Large. A medium would more than likely fit and give room.It obviously doesn’t fit me like it does the model, however, there is no fitting in the top. The pictures make it look like it is semi fitted at the top and flares at the skirt but that’s not true.I read the reviews for this dress and noticed most people saying to size down. I am between medium and large. I buy both sizes pretty frequently (large about 70% of the time and medium about 30%). So I bought a medium. I should have bought a small. This dress is extremely loose and I do understand that is the style but I wanted something like what you see on the model: a little fitted at the chest and flowey the rest of the way down. I am 5'6 and 165lbs with a C cup. The length of the dress is good, I wanted something long, and I was excited about the pockets but because the dress is so baggy the pockets are very noticeable and sit right on my hips making them appear wider... not necessarily a bad thing I just want to give a much info as I can. The chest area of the dress is where I have the most issue. It was just a little bland and hid all my shape. I love that the dress has adjustable straps and I will have to play around with the straps and try it with different bras but I bought this dress to take on a beach vacation and didn't bring a lot of bra options with me. So I think I can still make it work for me with some trial and error.Per their size chart I’m an XL, but I wear a M in most things and after reading reviews I went M with this item too. It is pretty generously sized. Barely touches or clings, but it isn’t baggy. The fabric is good. Stretchy and soft , not see thru. I feel like it would be too long for someone more petite, especially if you don’t size down. Overall really like it though! Might buy in another color but maybe a small.Fit was amazing! At 5’6 and a half, 170 lbs, the large fit well. You can dress this up or down. It also maintained its integrity and color after washing. Great purchase.Beautiful color, great for traveling. Love the pockets. Will probably buy a couple more in different colors.I’m pretty short and I either find that this type of styles dress is to long it will shrink and become really short. But thus far this is the best dress I love for a casual day at the pool/beach or just to be around the house. The length is perfect and I am only 5”1 it very loose around the belly area but hugs my chest perfectly.Nice material and cut. Quite long but definitely runs very large. I’m xl. Could probably have bought M
